Prices are CAD (Plus applicable GST/HST for Canadian customers).
I can accept payments through Stripe and PayPal. For Canadian customers or those with Canadian bank accounts, there is the additional option of e-transfer. E-transfers are optimal for me because I don’t lose money to processing fees.

At this stage, the “big picture” editing should be done and your story’s basic structure should be in place.

Authenticity/Sensitivity Reading:
Fee: $50-75CAD, depending on manuscript length and level of feedback desired.
I’m willing to provide authenticity/sensitivity comments and suggestions, for an additional fee, as I provide another editing service. I will offer this only on a case-by-case basis IF I feel that my lived experience gives me helpful insight into your story’s content. I endeavour to stay in my own lane and have no interest in co-opting the voices of more qualified individuals.

Note:
Exact definitions of each editing stage vary throughout the editing community. It’s a good idea to do some research of editing terms to see what matches up best with the work you’re looking to get done.
The more precise you can be, the easier it will be for me (and other editors) to provide you with the best service possible. Sometimes, that may mean directing you to a different editing professional who is more capable of the type of edit you’re looking for. E.g. If you need a structural edit of an academic thesis, I’m probably not the editor for you. I would, however, be thrilled to be an extra set of eyes for a steamy romantasy, a domestic thriller, or a cozy romance.
